* It is relatively difficult to gain access to public wifi networks in Japan. If you would like to have wifi throughout your trip, you can rent a portable wifi system (pocket wifi). There are many different types, however most offer airport and/or hotel pickups. Alternatively, there are also data SIM cards available for purchase at airports and large electronics stores.
* You are welcome to stay at the Nakano Sunplaza Hotel, which is in the same building as the concert.
* January in Tokyo is the middle of winter. The temperature fluctuates between 9.5°C and 1°C (49°F and 33.5°F), so please pack warm clothes.
* There are too many interesting placing in Tokyo to list them all here. However, if you would like some ideas for what to do on the day of the concert, some recommendations are written below.
・Nakano Broadway has often been compared to Akihabara, in that there are over 200 shops, many of which sell anime, manga and an abundance of related merchandise. If you were planning to do some shopping while you are in Japan, Nakano Broadway might be one of the best places to do it. The streets around the building are also filled with various shops and restaurants. Located next to Nakano Sunplaza, Nakano Broadway is a very easy stop for those going to the concert.
・Kichijoji is filled with many shops and restaurants as well as Inokashira Park. Although, it may be too cold to enjoy walking around the park. If you decide to go to the Ghibli Museam (which is in Kichijoji), please note that you need to buy your tickets in advance to be able to enter.
・Shinjuku needs no introduction. Because it is only 7 minutes by train from Nakano Station, Shinjuku might be a great place to spend some time before going to the live concert.
* In Japan, trains and subways are not operated through the night. Please be careful not to miss the last train. Also, do not forget to factor in if you have to transfer to another line or not. Please see below for details:
